Our Story

Auntie Koko and her 8 siblings grew up in El Centro, California where her 1st generation “Issei”Japanese-American parents farmed squash and lettuce. Each sibling had their own job and responsibility for the large family, working hard to maintain the fields every day.

During World War II, the family was sent to an internment camp in Poston 1, Arizona, where they experienced hardship. But, they came out stronger four years later and rebuilt their lives. Today, the family tree is still growing and thriving!

Fast forward to present day, and Auntie Koko has become known for her amazing Koko Krackers. Experimenting at home, she came up with the perfect recipe for a sweet and savory snack that she could share with family and friends.

Koko Krackers quickly became a hit at family gatherings and are still loved to this day. And now, you can enjoy the same delicious treat that has been passed down through generations. So go ahead, take a bite and join in on the fun and joy that is Koko Krackers!
